Fertility Acupuncture
Fertility acupuncture supports the reproductive system by improving blood flow to the uterus and ovaries, regulating the hormones that govern ovulation, and calming the stress response that can interfere with conception. Treatment is built around the calendar — timed to follicular development, ovulation, and the luteal phase — rather than applied generically.
IVF & IUI Acupuncture
02
Acupuncture is often used alongside IVF and IUI to support the body through stimulation, retrieval, and transfer. It's typically scheduled around key points in the protocol — before and after transfer in particular — to support uterine receptivity and ease the physical and emotional weight of treatment.
PCOS/PMOS
03
PMOS is a hormonal condition, and acupuncture is used here to help regulate ovulation, lower elevated androgen and insulin markers, and bring more consistency to the cycle. It's worth being direct: acupuncture is not a substitute for medical fertility treatment in PMOS, and it hasn't been shown to outperform conventional care for achieving a live birth on its own. Where it earns its place is as a complement — supporting cycle regularity, hormonal balance, and the ovulation process itself, often alongside a physician's care.
Endometriosis
04
Endometriosis pain responds well to acupuncture, particularly pain tied to the menstrual cycle. Treatment focuses on reducing inflammation, easing pelvic muscle tension, and calming the nervous system's pain response, with many patients noticing shorter, less intense flares over time.
Painful Periods / Menstrual Cramps
05
Cramping is often a sign of stagnant circulation in the pelvis. Acupuncture improves blood flow to the uterus and reduces the inflammatory compounds that drive menstrual pain, easing both the intensity and duration of cramps.
Irregular Cycles
06
An irregular cycle is usually a sign that the hormonal signaling between the brain and the ovaries needs support. Acupuncture works on this communication directly, helping to reestablish a more predictable rhythm over several cycles of treatment.
PMS & Hormonal Balance
07
Mood shifts, bloating, and tenderness that show up before a period are tied to the hormonal swing of the luteal phase. Acupuncture has consistently shown an ability to ease these symptoms, smoothing the transition into menstruation.
Menopause & Perimenopause
08
Hot flashes, night sweats, and disrupted sleep are among the most researched applications of acupuncture in menopausal women health. Treatment focuses on regulating the body's temperature control and calming the nervous system, easing both the frequency and severity of symptoms as estrogen shifts.
Perinatal Care
09
Pregnancy brings its own set of physical demands, and acupuncture is a safe way to manage the low back and pelvic pain that often comes with a growing uterus, along with nausea and general tension throughout 1st, 2nd and 3rd trimesters.
Postpartum Support
10
Recovery after birth is physical and emotional. Acupuncture is used to support milk supply, ease the mood dips common in the fourth trimester, and help the body recover its footing after the strain of labor and delivery.
