How Acupuncture Works

Acupuncture gives the body a way to tap into its own healing capacity. It works by stimulating targeted points along the meridians — the pathways through which qi, or life force energy, moves through the body. Inserting needles at these points sends a subtle electrical impulse through the fascia and connective tissue, reaching deep tissue layers and triggering the nervous system's natural regulatory processes.

In Their Words

Entryway with a mirror, hooks with a brown blanket and wall hanging, a black bench, a pair of brown slippers, a woven rug on dark wood floor, beige and brown walls, and a window with curtains.

Lauren is an incredible, caring and collaborative practitioner. I have found her treatment to be so valuable to my overall well-being—we have addressed both physical ailments and stress—that I have been seeing her regularly for nearly two years.
